Bill Myers
SCORE chairman Bill Myers is no stranger to the business world. Bill was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
Bill's education includes an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Bill has started numerous business ventures and always strives for success. Some of these ventures include:
- Founded the Myers Research Corporation that became the 3rd largest marketing and economic research company on the West Coast in 1966.
- Founding Partner of Air California which went public for $2 1/2 million. It later was sold to American Airlines in 1987 for $174 million.
- Founder of Myers Building Industries, Limited; a commercial industrial building contractor of shopping centers, auto dealerships, and tilt-up buildings.
Bill is also highly involved in his church. Bill's wife is involved in the business world, being the General Manager of Fresno Lexus.
Currently, Bill is the Chairman of the Central Valley's SCORE chapter. He is also on the advisory board for the Lyle School of Entrepreneurship, and part of the Board of Directors for the Central Valley Business Incubator.

Bud Solomon
Bud is an Account Manager with Vernon Sales Promotion. He has been in the advertising business for over 25 years and has helped put infomercials together. Bud has been involved with the Fresno Chamber of Commerce for over 16 years. He has done volunteer fundraising and was also a mentor for six years with high school teenagers through the Fresno Unified School District.
Bud is a veteran of Vietnam who served six years in the army. In his spare time, Bud is an avid writer and loves to walk long distances.

Carl Switzer
Carl Switzer has been involved with the broadcasting industry most of his life. Carl is a very familiar face for most major broadcasters and Central Valley residents. Some of his past accomplishments include:
- National Sales Service Director for Westinghouse Broadcasting Inc. in San Francisco
- Westinghouse Broadcasting Traffic & Operations Director
- Central California Broadcasting Lobbyist
- Manager of AM & FM KONG Radio
- Started Anthony, Marquis & Switzer, as an advertising consultant, and specializing in marketing research and public relations
- Developed KSEQ 97.1 FM, Visalia
- Served in the U.S. Army with the Armed Forces Radio
Carl is currently a marketing consultant at his firm: Carl L. Switzer & Associates. He is a very active member in his community. He was previously on the Board of Directors for the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, West Visalia Kiwanis, the American Red Cross, the Hear Foundation of Tulare County, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Business Finance Center in Tulare. Carl was inducted into the College of the Sequoias Hall of Fame in 2003. He previously won the Man of the Year Award from Westinghouse Broadcasting.

Debora Flores
Debora is currently a Personal Banker with Bank of America. She is the Team Leader at the Manchester branch, with primary responsibilities including promoting sales of banking services, establishing successful relationships with corporate and personal banking customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
Megan Crocket
Megan is currently the Vice President Relationship Manager for Rabobank. Megan brings in new loans for Rabobank and manages the Small Business Administration’s portfolio. She was previously an Account Executive at Management Recruiters of Riverpark. In her previous position she was responsible for recruiting executive banking individuals for select financial institutions, building relationships with clients to assist in staffing needs, and screening individual candidates for a best-fit employment. In 2007, Megan was ranked #6 Rookie Recruiter for her entire region.
Santiago Guevara
Mr. Guevara has been a broker/agent with Vital Insurance Agency since 1992. He has a great deal of knowledge in Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising. He was the founder of Progressive Business Magazine and previously a member of several committee's and groups, including, The Better Business Bureau, Fresno Chamber of Commerce and Clovis Chamber of Commerce.
Christine Cerda
Christine is a business consultant that continues to work hard toward the economic development of Fresno. She is actively involved with the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CSUF where she focuses on project management and business resource consulting.
Christine's current project includes research and solutions towards Fresno's growing poverty rate and how unemployment impacts Fresno as a whole. She works in conjunction with entities such as the Regional Jobs Initiative, the Economic Development Department, and the EDC Fresno County by finding ways to bring more jobs into Fresno while strengthening the economy in the Central Valley.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys helping her father with real estate development.

Jim Graham
Jim graduated UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering with a business minor.
Previously, Jim was an electrical contractor in both prime and sub-contractor capacities. Jim has also been an expert witness in many law suits concerning illumination, electrical fire causation and other electrical related law suits.
Currently, Jim is the president of a consulting electrical engineering firm. The firm currently designs electrical power, lighting, and electronic systems for school, commercial, and military clients.

David O. Austin, Ed.D
Dr. David O. Austin, President of Ivy League USA, Inc. is an experienced K-12 school administrator with extensive experience in public administration, instructional leadership, staff development and human resources.
David was born in Sanger, California and raised in San Jose, California. Dr. Austin is a former high school principal, director of human resources & instruction, deputy superintendent and district superintendent.

A. Roy Salas
Roy is a very dedicated business counselor. After his honorable discharge from the US Army, Roy joined the workforce. But after working three years for someone, he found his true calling: Working for himself. Roy's specialty is Real Estate. He stayed self-employed until his retirement while also serving as an elected official for 15 years. Roy is proficient in both English and Spanish, along with some Japanese. Roy has a strong sense of helping the poor and needy whenever he can.
