SCORE is a national nonprofit organization with a public service mission. SCORE's 10,500 volunteers provide small business counseling and training through a network of 389 chapters, 400 branches, and its websites. SCORE has served more than 6 million entrepreneurs since 1964. SCORE currently serves nearly 400,000 entrepreneurs annually. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

SCORE counselors are all volunteers who contribute their time FREE of charge. Counseling is given at various times of the day at several locations.
Our monthly Workshops are designed to give you the knowledge you need to run a successful business. A small fee is charged for workshop attendance.
Business Counselors are needed. We are always looking for active or newly retired qualified business owners or executives to volunteer as counselors to help a new generation of people in the business world.
SCORE is headquartered in Washington, and partially funded by Congress through the Small Business Administration.

Last year, SCORE helped expand small business opportunities by providing more than 440,000 counseling services across the country to Americans starting or running a small business.
